Working with us
We are a commerce and software engineering studio based in Noida, India. We build and improve Shopify stores, business websites and custom software, and we automate testing, for growing D2C and B2B brands. The work runs through three practices: Digital Commerce, Software & Infrastructure, and Quality & Automation.
Growing D2C brands on Shopify, manufacturers and B2B businesses that need a proper website or business software, and product teams that want reliable test automation.
Tell us what you want to build or fix, or write to us. We have a short discovery call, then send a written proposal with the scope, price, timeline and terms. For larger or unclear work we usually recommend a paid audit first, so the quote rests on facts, not guesses.
Often. We regularly take the engineering layer while a brand or performance agency keeps creative and media. We agree on ownership in week one so nothing falls between teams.
Yes, including the US, UK, Australia, Singapore and the Gulf. We quote in your currency after scoping, with a 30% deposit that counts towards the first milestones. No Indian GST is charged, because the work is an export of services under our Letter of Undertaking (LUT). You pay your own and any intermediary bank charges.
Yes. Your procurement terms (GeM, tender conditions or work orders) usually apply in place of ours, and our founder handles these engagements directly. Rhytmelo is Udyam-registered as an MSME.
Pricing and payments
Every project gets a fixed quote after scoping. As a guide, before 18% GST: the Website & Commerce Audit is ₹60,000; a Fix Sprint is around ₹1.5 lakh; business websites are typically ₹2.5–5 lakh; Shopify store builds ₹3.5–8 lakh; Shopify Plus builds ₹8–20 lakh. Retainers start from ₹90,000 a month. Custom software and headless commerce are quoted after a paid audit.
Yes, for the scope in the proposal. If you want something outside it, we price the change in writing, with its effect on the timeline, before any work starts. Nothing extra is billed without your written approval.
Audits are paid upfront. Fix Sprints are 50% on signing and 50% at handover. Builds and software projects are 50% on signing, 30% at design approval or staging handover, and 20% at launch. Retainers are billed monthly in advance. Invoices are due within 7 days.
Prices are shown before GST. Clients in India pay 18% GST on top, and every invoice is a GST invoice showing our GSTIN. Clients outside India pay no Indian GST, because the work is an export of services under our LUT.
Yes. Our fees are not grossed up for TDS. You can deduct TDS as your law requires on the fee excluding GST and send us the TDS certificate each quarter. Our accounts team can confirm the details.
For packages bought online you pay a booking amount now: a share of the total, shown before you pay. The balance is invoiced as the work progresses. Prices are worked out on our server in your currency, with GST added for India.
In India: UPI, cards and netbanking. From outside India: international cards or PayPal. You authorise the payment in Razorpay's secure window; we never see or store your full card details.
Yes, in the cases our refund policy sets out. An audit cancelled before we start is refunded in full. A project can be cancelled with 15 days' written notice: we keep the value of work done (at least 20% of the total, which covers set-up) and refund the rest within 15 working days of approval.
Please don't pay again. Write to hello@rhytmelo.com with your order number and we will check it with the payment provider. A failed payment that was debited is normally reversed to your account automatically.
Audits
A paid review of your website or store: speed, checkout, tracking, SEO, code and platform setup. You get a written report ranking what's costing you sales or speed, with the fixes in priority order. It's yours to act on, with or without us. NO COMMITMENT
Yes, once. If you sign a build, a Fix Sprint, a software project or a retainer with a 3-month minimum within 60 days of the day we deliver the report, the full audit fee is credited against it.
Usually read-only or collaborator access to your store, analytics and code, as listed in the proposal. You grant it, you can revoke it at any time, and we never ask you to share a password.
We aim to deliver the report within 7 working days of receiving your payment and the access listed in the proposal. It is a target date, not a fixed deadline, and we tell you early if it moves.
Projects and delivery
A Fix Sprint takes 2–3 weeks. Websites and Shopify builds usually take from a few weeks to about three months, depending on scope. Your proposal includes a dated plan with milestones before you commit.
In your client portal in Rhytmelo Studio: milestones, items waiting for your approval or input, documents, invoices and requests, for your company only.
At each milestone we send a "ready for review" notice listing what is delivered and the acceptance criteria. You have 5 working days to accept it or send a list of defects, which we fix and re-submit. Builds include 2 design rounds and 1 staging round.
Ask any time. We price the change in writing, with its effect on the timeline, and start once you approve it. A change request that is not approved within 10 working days lapses.
Yes. For 30 days after a launch (14 days after a Fix Sprint is published) we fix defects in our own work at no charge. This does not cover changes made by others, updates or outages of third-party apps and platforms, hosting, or new requests; those are quoted separately or handled under a retainer.
You do. Once all fees are paid, ownership of everything we made specifically for you is assigned to you in writing. Our own pre-existing tools and code libraries stay ours, and you get a permanent licence to use and modify them as part of your project. Third-party tools and licences stay with their owners.
Support and retainers
Yes, as a monthly retainer, from ₹90,000 a month plus GST. A care retainer covers maintenance and fixes, a growth pod covers CRO, SEO, email, WhatsApp and analytics, and a dedicated pod gives larger teams a full squad. The minimum term is 3 months (6 for a dedicated pod).
Yes, at any time, including during the minimum term, with 30 days' written notice. You pay for the notice period and nothing more. Unused hours lapse at the end of each month.
Data and security
Yes, before discovery if you'd like; send yours or use ours. Confidentiality is also part of our Standard Terms and covers your code, data, credentials and pricing.
We access only what the work needs, and we never ask you to share passwords. Where the work involves your customers' personal data, the proposal sets out what we process and how. Our privacy policy has the details.
Sometimes, when a project needs a specific skill. Every specialist is vetted and signs confidentiality, data-protection and IP terms before getting access, and we stay fully responsible for their work. On request, we tell you if anyone outside our team will access your systems.
Partners
Sometimes. We are partners of Shopify, Razorpay and PayU and may earn referral fees when clients use them. Whenever we recommend, set up or keep one of their tools for you, we say so in the proposal or report, and our advice stays honest: if a partner tool is the problem, we tell you in writing.
Only with your written consent for each use, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Shopify and commerce
Always a duplicate theme or staging environment first. Nothing reaches production without a review and a rollback plan.
Software and infrastructure
Yes. We start with an architecture review, document what exists, and agree what to keep, refactor or replace before writing new code.
You do — repositories, cloud accounts and credentials live in your organisation from day one.
QA and test automation
Playwright for most web suites, Cypress where it is already established, plus k6 for load and our own AutoGherk for scenario generation.
